Barn Yard
Originally a farm yard housing horses, this south facing yard is currently a very rough piece of ground. The aspect means sun in the morning til late afternoon and the ground has been compacted by heavy machinery, scattered with hard core left from a concrete base that was removed. The brief is to create a dining area to service the house softened with plants to create a green space for sitting in and looking out onto from the house.
